About Aaron Cometbus:
Aaron has been publishing his fanzine, Cometbus, since 1981. Originally a showcase for California basement punk bands, Cometbus grew with its editor to incorporate a whole range of contradictory qualities. Over the years, there have been audio issues, comics issues, sociological studies, and oral histories, but all with the same loving scrutiny of punk culture and other underground communities.
Cometbus is perhaps best known for Aaron’s own prose. He is also the author of several novels and short story collections published in the US and France. He has received no prizes, but was recently pleasantly surprised to find a sandwich named after him at a Virginia cafe.
Aaron lives in New York and is currently attempting career suicide by working on a collection of poetry.
About Jeff Miller:
Jeff Miller began writing and publishing the autobiographical Ghost Pine Fanzine in 1996 while growing up in suburban Ottawa. His first book, Ghost Pine: All Stories True, was published in 2010. He lives in Montreal and has given readings at punk shows and book stores across North America.

Hamilton event: Wed. Nov. 20
